TURISTINGIOCO
Turistingioco aims at making Salento’s cultural heritage accessible to
all citizens. The project is mainly targeted to meet specific requirements,
such as those of disabled people, elderly people, children and families. Natural
and cultural itineraries – to be adapted to individual needs – are
arranged in cooperation with organizations, associations and schools and offer
touristic-didactic activities to let children approach cultural heritage in
a more participative way.
We bring people up to be aware of Salento’s treasures: in fact we provide
consulting regarding touristic activities by suggesting routes (along unusual
or unexplored paths) in order to bring out cultural and environmental heritage,
local crafts and traditions. Turistingioco promotes a wider approach to cultural
heritage, relying on a wide network of services as well as on the planning of
alternatives with the purpose of overcoming all those physical obstacles preventing
access to buildings and monuments by disabled people.
